Session 1: Redesigning De Stijl
Have a great time with geometrics! Use the resources provided with TechnoArt, to have your students examine a variety of De Stijl artwork to notice the sensational array of shapes and colors.
Session 2: Recreating Cubism
Ignite the art community by giving them something to talk about! Use the resources provided in TechnoArt, to have your students study the art style Cubism to notice the unusual arrangement of body parts. In cubism the placement of noses, mouths, and eyes give each masterpiece a fun-house cartoon appearance.
Session 3: Reinventing Impressionism
Create one-of-a-kind digital art! In this activity students reinvent impressionism. The artwork created by Monet and Seurat provide the inspiration that the “techno” painters need to forge a unique style.
Session 4: Make Your Own Art Gallery
To complete the TechnoArt project, students create a ‘techno’ art gallery to display all the masterpieces they have painted. A PowerPoint template, provide with the resources, is used to hang each original artwork right beside those painted by renowned artists.
